Worcester Cathedral Recount Writing
OUR TRIP TO WORCESTER CATHEDRAL
Early on Wednesday Year 3 and 4 went to Worcester Cathedral to sing some songs and make a banner.
We eventually arrived there at Worcester Cathedral. It was as big as 65,000 Elephants who had eaten more fat than your or I would in a lifetime. It was huge!
Next we went inside. It was weird! The glass had shapes of Jesus and other things like that. When I had a look inside it was bigger on the insode than it was on the outside.
Finally, we got put in our workshops. Year 3/4 got put in the choir. Well, it wasn't that bad actually because there was a funny man who did a funny dance.
The most interesting thing was making the banner. It was fun. We were put into different groups and our group made the world.

OUR DAY AT WORCESTER CATHEDRAL
On Wednesday Year 3 and 4 went to Worcester Cathedral to do JC Today. While we were there we sung songs and made a banner.
First, we got on a white coach and off we went. But to my surprise, it had tables with two seats on each side. I sat by by my friend but we did not have a table, unfortunately. Me and my friend chatted about horses.
When we arrived we heard screaming and thought it was a prison. we all started chatting but then Mrs Gwilliam came back and it was as qiuet as a scarecrow. I was relieved. I felt a little tingle in my toes as we moved forward towards the cathdral then the tingle got stronger and stronger until it stopped when I sat down.
We sang and made a banner that looked like it was made by God's very own angels. It had a sun, a rainbow and the earth with candles and a Jesus cross. I worked on a rainbow with my friend. We had the word spririt as well. We used yellow for the word spirit; the rainbow was red, blue, purple, orange and yellow.
Time started to fly by and before I knew it, it was time to go home. I had had the best experience ever in my whole life. Me and my friend were quiet on the way back until I broke the silence.

Yesterday the year 3's and 4's went on a bus to Worcester Cathedral for a whole day to do workshops with other schools.
When we got on the bus there was tables on the bus. When we got there, we sat on a wall. It looked huge on the outside. When we got inside we had to sit in a pew.
After that we got our first workshop. It was the singing workshop. We sang 5 songs. I know one was called glory, glory, glory.
We had our second workshop it was making banners. There was different parts of the banner. Me and two friends were on the sun. Other schools was doing different banners.
At Worcester Cathedral we did singing loads of songs. we made banners. It was so exciting my eye nearly popped out! My most fascinating thing was making banners. I was on duty for the beautiful, lovely sun. At the end of the banner making we had a festival. It was so fascinating.
