The children in Key Stage One have been learning about Mexico this term. The children are having a Mexican Day and have made their own Mexican ponchos.

The children had a Mexican dinner and some of the food was made by the children themselves.
On the menu was tortillas, Mexican bean salad, guacamole, Mexican tomato sauce, Jamie Oliver's Mexican beans, mixed peppers, mixed fruit, tortilla chips and Mexican warm chocolate drink.

Many of the children had never eaten spicy Mexican food before, but they all tried something and most of the children really enjoyed the new taste.
