Himbleton Church of England First School, Worcestershire

About Us

As a Church School, Himbleton CE First has close links with our local church, St. Mary Magdalene, Himbleton. The school was built by the Church of England Authorities in 1873 to provide educational facilities for children of the parish.  Following recent extensive refurbishment, the school flourishes today as a First School for 4 - 9 year old children and is controlled by the Local Education Authority, offering places for 65 children.  It provides for a designated catchment area but it can accommodate children from outside the area subject to permission being granted from the L.E.A.

Changes continue in education, both nationally and locally.  We endeavour to embrace these changes positively with a continued commitment towards providing the very best for the children in our school.

Education has truly moved on since this photograph was taken.
We think the pupils seen here in our school playground,  might be somewhat puzzled and amazed by all the physical changes.

Some things remain, whilst others change.

Can you spot them?
